A blooming cherry tree must be the image of paradise. Possibly in competition with the impending harvest of dark red, shiny berries!

Cherry Jam with thyme gives a fresh and sour taste that goes well with most cheeses. Just the right amount of sweetness that balances the mouth-watering taste of cherry with a light touch of thyme - perfect for a creamy, buttery cheese like a mature Brie or to bring out the nuttiness of a mild Swiss cheese.
Cherries and cheese go as well together as strawberries and ice cream. Classic with duck and fantastic with a blue cheese, aged goat cheese, brie and camembert. A wonderful addition to any cheese platter.

"Oh. Oh my. So good! Love this on toast in the morning, I dare you to find a more delicious option (I can save you some time, it's just not possible). Not sure if there are other flavors but I would bet they are just as good. Bon appetit !"

"My favorite combo is with a buttered English muffin. But it's just as good on a peanut butter sandwich or over Greek yogurt with some granola. Totally satisfied and would buy again."

Goes well with Brie, Gruyere, Parmesan, Cheddar, Mozzarella, Gouda, cream cheese
Cherries belong to the stone fruits that have a large core surrounded by juicy flesh and often shiny skin. The progenitor of the cherry is the birdberry, Prunus avium , which is widely grown wild throughout the world's temperate zones. Cherries are not naturally self-pollinating, but plant breeders have developed garden varieties that are self-fertile. Cherries bloom early, often on bare branches. It can be a challenge if the frost is late. The fruit ripens during July and August.
